ReBoot: Xmas Slideshow
It took a while to figure out what to draw for the ReBoot Slideshow, but something finally came to me last Saturday night and so I've been working on it off and on since then. I've finished it to my current satisfaction and sent it off to the piece. Once the slideshow is released, I'll post the giant poster. I'm relatively pleased with it. I won't say too much here because I've already done a write up on it in Sta.sh.
Less than one week to Christmas and I have one more person in my immediate family to buy for and also to get stocking stuffers. It doesn't seem like Christmas is on Wednesday. Maybe since I've been staying inside for the most part, or at least working in locations that don't have too many Christmas decorations up and being mostly by myself. At least the snow is around to help with the season's feeling, as well as my three foot Christmas tree. Since all of my decorations are still packed, it only has one thing on it other than lights; this year's Tim Horton's limited edition go cup ornament.
It looks a little lonely.
I was hoping to go see The Hobbit 2 this week, but I've been feeling a bit under the weather, and soon everyone will be under the weather with the snow dump that we're expecting to get in a few hours. Ah well. Guess I'll be seeing it with my sister this year. I also have yet to see the extended version of Hobbit 1. I've seen clips on YouTube, but haven't seen it all put together. That'll happen at Christmas too. I'm keeping with tradition and buying the theatrical as well as the extended versions. I like them that much, and I hate waiting a full year to watch it whenever I want.
That and later I'm sure that Rifftrax will be doing the shorter versions of the movies -- they did an excellent job with the Lord of the Rings and the Harry Potter movies.
